As much as it is an easy way to make more power it will screw up the emissions control systems. This is the problem with modern diesels. The cleaner they get the more fuel they consume. All the crap in the exhaust pipe is just restricting the engine.
Its a bit early to be tuning the dooper and considering that BMW themselves had to recall some early Doopers to remap to reduce the risk of DPF fires it not something I'd like to try. |
