I must admit I found finding reverse a bit tricky when I first got my R56 MCS but you do get used to it after a while. I guess its a safety feature so you don't accidently pop into reverse as you have to put a bit of effort into engaging the gear!

Best not attempt any quick 3 point turns until you have mastered it!
