If you can't see that stop start technology is there to save fuel then I think you should sell the mini and buy another SLK, or perhaps upgrade your SLK to an AMG model and go for broke eh?

The simple facts are as follows:-

Oil is a finite fuel source
The developing world is now starting to overtake the developed world in terms of fuel consumption.
Fuel prices are increasing

The mini is one of the lowest polluting cars on the market
It is made from conventional parts which have known recycling methods (I dont think Toyota have a full end of life management scheme for the Prius yet)
It has a range of technologies which are used to save fuel without the intervention of the driver.

And blow me, when I'm bimbling around in my Dooper with my ipod turned up (not that loud) I cant even hear the engine anyway. The engine is always ready to go, even if I'm sat at the front of the queue at the lights and want to make a brisk getaway, I'll always be moving before the lights have gone full green anyway?

Which aspect is troubling you?
