I paid in full before collection, but no papers were signed before I saw the car and collected it. If I were you I would not be 100% OTT about the payment, but I would refuse the delivery, I'd rather pick the car up at dealers on a different day! Several reasons for this

1. If there is a problem then you are there face to face to sort it with them
2. You have no idea what sort of a ragging a young sales or mechanic will give the car in its first 50 miles!
3. If it is dirty on arrival then it reduces the chance of you spotting something
