Also as stated until we see the full tech info and curves it's difficult to make too much sense of what the difefrences will be. And they are throwing in some additional standard kit.

The car is pricey, but isn't every MINI. As quoted earlier it is still cheaper that the GP was.

What isn't clear is whether the Aero kit is included. Whether this car will have the option to spec chili pack etc. or is it a GP type standard package? If it is possible to spec the car up it will end up being a very pricey little car.

I have also being wondering about the lifespan of the tuning kit now. Will they continue to produce it? Or will it be dropped in the same way as the Cooper works kit was when the MCS was released? Time will tell.

I was really looking forward to the release of the JCW Stage 2 kit as was ready to part with some hard earned cash again, but I'm initially disappointed.

I was hoping that the Stage 2 kit would have about 220bhp and turn the R56 MCS into a sub 6 second 0 to 60mph car, low 5's would have been nice! And have a transmission and suspension set-up that could deal with the extra power so that you could use all the power in real world driving and not just on the track.

I'll still probably buy one though....
