Some cars (mine included) have a cold start ratlle, where it appears there may be some oil starvation. As yet there is no fix for it despite BMW changing cam tensioners/hydraulic lifters and in some cases whole engines.
Mine also has a whole host of trim and interior rattles.....by far the worst MINI I have had to be honest. Which is a shame as personally I think the R56 has a lot going for it....
