I think it only fair to point out that smaller than 15% pulleys and lifting the red line to 7000 spins the charger beyond its rated top speed by some margin, and it will effect the life of the charger
these chargers do wear and fail
-Any internal wear will only cause the charger to become more inefficient over time,this always increases the heat produced by the charger ,and in turn increases the wear rate.
these chargers already produce very turbulent air ,which again worsens with wear.
There will be a point at which the heat generated will far exceed any intercoolers capability and cause catastrophic failure.
There are plenty of 50000 mile plus cars out there ,and the chargers are not serviced or inspected and do leak oil .
most owners are not track day driving their car and for sure cant afford catastrophic failure
