I very nearly went for a Clio 182 and I found the 197 no where near as good, the 182 and even the 172 are awesome cars if you can live with the trim. The 197 is good when it gets ragged and the brakes make the minis brakes feel like milk bottle tops but I just hate the character of the engine (had the same feeling with the CTR) I really couldn't live with it everyday.
