not sure about this,but i would assume national use a generic filter as opposed to bmw part so for extra piece of mind i would suggest you buy the bmw part and take it with you, i doubt you could invalidate your warrenty, but you might loose your tlc, and for the cost of the filter i would not take a chance,
i would also make sure they do not reset your service count down [to be honest they wont]
