That mpg sounds pretty good to me! I don't know how long or how far you've driven your car but the mpg are supposed to improve after "break in" - yes? I'd be thrilled with 37mpg (and by the way thank you for translating for those of us who are metrically challenged.

)... Since mine will be an automatic, I know it won't be quite as good as the manual.
As for driving conservatively to save money - that is called being smart, unless one's funds are unlimited.
