Hi,

The manual for my Clubman states minimum 87 octane for the car, but higher octanes were recommended. I ran regular on my 05 as well with no issues at all ( but again, I live at a high altitude so that may have a difference).

The difference between the imperial and US gallon is why I like to see metric stuff used
