I have just had a set of these Cross coilovers fitted to my R56 S and the improvement over the standard SS is amazing, even with S spokes and runflats.
The ride is more compliant and always feels in control. The car doesn't jump across the road when encountering a broken road surface, a major and very welcome change in the handling.
Plus, if you buy from RMW as I did, Jan provides an excellent initial setup as a starting point for your individual adjustments - if any.
You will need some adjustable control arms for the rear if you want to retain stock camber settings.
I had the coilovers fitted by Paul and Chris at 1320 and found them very easy to do business with. I particularly appreciated Paul bringing my car to me for a test drive on standard wheels and tyres so that I could make a direct comparison of suspension performance on familiar roads - before fitting light weight wheels and non run flat tyres.
Very highly recommended on all counts for what is a road only car although I believe there may be people who use Cross on the track as well !!
The lowered effect really suits the car too. |
