What is the difference (apart from size), between a standard crank pulley and a +3% item. I've read about the OEM crank pulley 'failing' and producing odd engine noises but the +3% item just seems to be exactly that, ie an ordinary pulley of a larger size with no 'balancing/damping facility'.
