I know I don't have any idea of your driving skills, but having a Cooper S or JCW at 19 is dangerous with probably the little experience you have. Even the Cooper S is a lot of car to handle.

I'm 21 and with 2 NCB. I've managed to push my first premium to be £1000 with my Dad as a named driver for my new MCS I'm getting in 2 weeks time. For some people, it works, some it doesn't.

Maybe you should be looking at a Cooper or even a Cooper D? Then trade it in after 2/3 years. That's what I would do in your position.

I think I'd be able to handle a MCS. I did used to work at brands hatch as a motorsport mechanic for around a year driving/testing Audi s/seaters and Peugeot 206 Rally cars. I did also own a 106 rallye which was probably just as fast as a MCS - (1/4 mile 14.8).

got the S when i had just turned 18, with 0 ncb - £2900. that's after moving up from a cooper - they're great cars, but nothing on the S.

best of luck.

Soo, Drumzz who was that with? I should get it near, if not under £2k with my 'stats' then...

More whiiiine please!
