Extra £100 on tax... well saw that coming! As for fuel prices, doesn't really bother me either way, you always find a way to adjust to it either that or you give up driving your car.
I own my car outright now so any cost to run it is relative and like many I couldn't care about emissions on my car because its far to easy to say there is worse out there.
On top of all that with the mods on my MCS I seem to be getting 38mpg at the moment which isn't awful.. and if I need to go someplace else then I use the mule for that trip which is my faithful Diesel Fiat Punto (m reg and cost me £100 to buy) so can't complain really!
By the time I had spent thousands getting a Dooper or in fact a diesel car that I think I could live with power / fun wise I doubt I would save that much anyway. Got to enjoy it motoring whilst I can and Im young so by the time I'm 60 I doubt there will be anything near what it is now.
£35 per year to tax or not diesel is the fuel of the devil lol! |
