My initial reaction is that if the initial £270 is more than the cost of the bypass valve + labour for fitting, you shouldn't pay any extra. However the garage could argue that you have benefitted from the fitment of new parts elsewhere. Pay for the part but don't pay for the labour. Good luck. |
