Now that we've got our Mini, I may try again, but I think we'll be looking for another one anyway as it's a pain to swap it between two cars all the time.

Glad mine isn't the only one that the Maxi-Cosi XP is not a good fit. The Tobi was a very good fit, really secure but £40 more than the XP. I'm waiting another month or so while I can still get away with the Group 0 carrier seat!
