My first bit of modification and it resulted in 216bhp with a pulley change and the car feels completely different to drive.

Will go for urethane front bushes and a larger rear anti-roll bar next, plus a set of the yokohama paradas that were on bigshow's car. Along with Mintex PADs it should make track days a better experience.

Bigshow's car is an awesome car and I like the way it has kept a standard look about the car. What a Q car.

One question for the wise people here. Driving home after a long slow motorway journey I gave the car a bit of stick and noticed a bit of black sooty smoke in the mirror. Is this 'cos the car is running rich and is it OK?

Congrats on the new power mate, that's a great result from the pulley change.

Thanks for your comments on mine, like to keep it as a wolf in sheeps clothing as it helps to annoy Civic Type R drivers ... which with your new power you'll be doing too

Mine often gives out a bit of black soot after a run on the dyno and its nothing to worry about as its better to be a bit too rich than too lean It's because you've been giving it beans on the dyno then, taking it easy and giving it beans again so the car probably just chucked a bit more fuel down the pipe as it woke up to your right foot
