Sorry to hear about curbing your wheels, it's so annoying
I once had an alloy refub about 6 years ago on a new Seat Ibiza (had it less than a week & curbed it at Morrisons) It was done by the Seat dealers and cost between £40-£45 plus VAT at the time, so £50 today does not seem bad.
PS. my uncle now has the car and no problems with the refub lasting!
