Prior to having my
MCS I owned a Civic Type-R which had low profile tyres, consequently if you got the wheels too near the curb they got damaged easily. My
MCS has run-flats so the wheel rim is higher and less prone to damage. If the damage is minor then you can buy DIY kits from Halfords which a lot of Type-R owners used. If you use a kit to do this then you need to have the wheel/s re-balanced.
If the damage is severe then you need to use a specialist organisation.
