Sorry to hear about curbing your wheels, it's so annoying
I once had an alloy refub about 6 years ago on a new Seat Ibiza (had it less than a week & curbed it at Morrisons) It was done by the Seat dealers and cost between £40-£45 plus VAT at the time, so £50 today does not seem bad.
PS. my uncle now has the car and no problems with the refub lasting!

I owned a Civic Type-R which had low profile tyres, consequently if you got the wheels too near the curb they got damaged easily. My
MCS
has run-flats so the wheel rim is higher and less prone to damage. If the damage is minor then you can buy DIY kits from Halfords which a lot of Type-R owners used. If you use a kit to do this then you need to have the wheel/s re-balanced.
If the damage is severe then you need to use a specialist organisation.
Thanks Mini2 guys - helpful as always
