Thumbs up

Thanks for the comments folks. This morning I took the car to Stratstone who touched the paint chip up - not sure if im entirely convinced with the result but will see how it looks in a couple of days. The windscreen has to be fully replaced so its booked in for next Tuesday to get that done.

Today i have driven it properly and got a reel feel for it.
The seats are more comfortable than the lounge leather seats I had in my Cooper D - good really as I did 26000 miles in the 11 months I had that one.

I bought a couple of leads today so that I could extend the USB and Phono connection and hide the Ipod under my car seat - noticed that the Ipod doesnt switch off with the ignition so may have to watch for screen burn on the ipod and battery drain on the car???

Bluetooth to Blackberry pearl is FANTASTIC - loving that . . .just need to get the armrest insert for blackberry pearl but dont think they do one yet?????

One must add for me is going to be Mudflaps - The back of the car is FILTHY after a journey down the M1 today. The muck and spray really does cover the back doors making them filthy to open.Does the clubman have a particular mudguard fitting or is it generic??

Boot space was great - made an impulse but in Maplin today which would not have fitted in my cooper D boot - no such problems this time!!!

Im slowly getting used to stop/start - freaked me out a bit but its growing on me.... i just expect the car not to start in time and to have some irate driver going mad behind me......maybe im just judging by my own standards

Feel like im being told off by the gearshift guide - but maybe that will improve my economy and driving style!!! - all in all Day 1 has been a great day!
