Nice work, I was wondering how long it would take for this simple mod to make it to Mini 2.

I have also done this mod to my JCW and also pleased with the result. The bypass valve sound is not for everyone but as I am not normally driving hard I can only just hear it. When I am having fun it is loud and proud, adds to the whole experience really.

Here is mine, it has changed slightly recently as I have fabricated a new mounting bracket out of aluminium but you will get the idea.

I will put on a new pic with the bracket when I get the chance to take a pic.
