Hi Ben; and welcome to the "Club"!

If that's really the case and not an exaggeration then I'd check two things before going aftermarket for speakers:

1: That the bass setting hasn't been turned right down by a previous driver because the HI-Fi sound system is fine in mine - but I'm not into hard rock and pounding bass.

2: That the speakers haven't been blown by a previous driver who tried full bass at full volume "to see what it sounded like", which your dealer will replace under warranty.
