Sorry to hear that the JCW has to go, but I can see where you are coming from about the Land Rover.
My Dad owns a 2003 Discovery and a 2005 Defender. I have been lucky enough to be insured on both at various points over the past year or so...
The 90 is by far my favourite. We have a 90 XS CSW, with a few 'luxuries' well for a Defender at least!! It looks great, and is suprisingly nippy given that it weighs so much. A trip to JE would no doubt see it being quicker to 60 than my ONE D
I'm working on my Dad to take the plunge, haha.
