Fitting the the larger diameter ends on can depend on your bodgin' skills, some-people can't fit them and others manage it , and once you've cut the rolled up end off (if applicable), there's no going back .

If you want a really good fit you can slide a small section of the larger diameter pipe on to the smaller diameter pipe (easy for me to say as I've got loads knocking about), making sure it's secure, and then fit the larger exhaust end trim.

There should be plenty of other alternatives out there .

Was there a reason you didn't just chance to a COOPER exhaust when you was having it replaced? .

do you have any idea were any of the other alternatives could be purchased?
when i took the car in the packaging said mini cooper if memory serves me correctly, but it dosent have the chrome tip is that possible?
