I'm not wishing to start any sort of argument but just point out something they people may have overlooked.

If everyone agreed with each other the world would be a boring place i was talking about people who mocked others for their choices.

This is the first car in seven years I've driven with run-flats, all others had normal tyres and I didn't worry myself enough to go out and buy run-flats for them. If it bothers people that much then a driving course to prepare yourself for such conditions is just as worthwhile.

I check my tyres weekly for tread depth, pressure and any objects in them, I drive avoiding potholes, grates and other risky objects and always check the road in-front for anything driving a good distance behind cars on motorways to give avoidance time. Not once have never experienced a blowout since I started driving.

If I wanted extra safety I wouldn't buy a sporty car I'd look at NCAP and buy a big safe car
