Colours can attract the bugs / flies etc... etc... (Yellow's one of the better ones for this)
It may just be your lifestyle:
- Country side, loads of bugs etc...
- Take-aways attract loads of bugs etc...
- Possibly the colour of your MINI.
- Speed & Motorway driving can catch loads of bugs etc...
It could've been the smell of the take-away that killed all the bugs that then fell on your MINI while you were in there

We're exactly the opposite of the life style listed above and we don't have a bug problem (The MINI is Chili Red though
).
The MINI windscreens are also a lot steeper than other cars this could also be a contributing factor (splatting them rather than deflecting them
).
