Just wondered how many people would be interested in a Mini only track day at Oulton Park?
Probably have to be December '08 or Jan, Feb '09 as these are cheapest months to hire the circuit. Approx cost would be around £150 for full day.
I know some people prefer mixed track days as you can compare Minis against other cars, but I thought for novices (like myself) it would be less intimidating to be surrounded by Minis than feeling like your getting in the way of Elises and 911's
Any ideas/comments appreciated.

To have a COMPLETELY Mini track day we need 60 cars!

The options for the track day are as follows:

Option 1 would be open pit lane. So you can go out when you want and stay out for as long as you want (within reason!) This costs approx £120 -150 per car.

Option 2 would be a sessioned track day. Cars go out in groups of 20 and get 20 mins on track each hour. Overall in a day you'd get 6 sessions, ie 2 hours on track.
This costs approx £110 - 130 per car.

Unless we can get 60 Minis fully booked up Oulton Park will open the track up to the general public in order to cover costs. Please give an indication of whether you would be seriously interested in this.
