The correct response should have been something like- “ Sorry we will fix it as soon as possible here is a replacement car right now for you to use!” How hard can it be there a Car garage for god’s sake to find you a runabout, try the cars the staff are running about in. I know I turned away a few weeks back when I went to look at a cooper and seen the very car spin out of the forecourt at speed only for it to spin back after about five minutes, oh and the crap left on the back seat helped its case.
