I need to replace the awful runflat tyres on our R56
MCS. The car is fitted with 18"
JCW R105 wheels.
I've decided on a set of Yokohama Prada Spec 2's as they look the mutts nuts, but in a 215/40 R18 size to improve the ride quality.... a bit.
But I've read on Mini2 that this size will rub? I've been advised by the tyre centre that the 215/35 will give a harsher ride than the runflats, don't want this!
Anyone using 215/40 R18 tyres in this size on an R56? Or anyone got any comments or ideas?
