Have a problem with brakes. The 1st press of the brake pedal, the pedal goes nearly to the board then the 2nd press straight after is excellent. leave it for 10 secs the pedal goes back to the board. Ran litres of fuild through them and checked for leaks, nothing.

Fittted;
JCW Cailpers and pads
R56 cross drilled discs
EBC rear discs
Mini rear pads
Goodridge brake hoses

Fitted front Calipers with discs and pads on Saturday bled the brakes which carried onto Sunday.

Rear discs and hoses arrived last yesterday fitted last night and today but the brakes are still the same as the weekend, hardly anything on 1st press of the pedal then the brakes are excellent on the 2nd. Then leave the pedal for 10secs it goes soft again.

Left it into mechanic today, who drained the 5.1 and replaced it with dot4, and they couldn't get it working. They suggested putting clamps onto the pistons then press the foot brake and if the pedal went to board it would be a Master cylinder. And it did, master cylinder is £150.

Has anyone got any other ideas before I buy a Master Cylinder?
