Please do NOT "turn them upside down" and bleed them.
To properly bleed the DynaPro caliper you need only to open the UPPER bleeder screws. The caliper is universal and while it has bottom bleeders these are on top when inverted is all.
Open BOTH the inner and the outer bleeder screw (the smaller nipple, not the large one) with a 1/4" box wrench. Allow the fluid to freely flow down the sides of the cailper from both nipples for about 5min. This will gravity purge the caliper of all air. Do not pump the pedal at this time to prevent air from bing sucked back into the caliper. Replenish the reservoir as required.
After the 5min time, close the bleeders. If you wish to lightly pressure bleed them you may by use of a small hose on the nipple and proper two-man pressure/squirt doing each nipple about three times. Be certain the pedal remains fully "DOWN" while the nipple until the nipple is reported to be "closed". Repeat this on both TOP bleeders only on both calipers. Fill the reservoir as required.
You should be fine.
* The Wilwood factory hats are being finally re-tooled to accept the M14 studs. New orders will need to specifiy which stud is on their car when ordering. The hat will not be double drilled in order to keep the retention srew mount. These should be available in the next few weeks. Todd/TCE |
