And no, it's impossible to import foreign efficiency and logic to the UK. Against Human Rights, in breach of local diversity policies, and would generally be regarded as a Bad Thing by all the middle management, middle men and middling intellects here in the UK.
If we really were as bright as we like to think we are, we'd still have a car industry, just like the Germans, French and Italians. The fact that perceived wisdom in the UK that there's no way to make any money out of manufacturing doesn't seem to have prevented Munich from doing quite nicely, thanks. |
