It has only dawned on me that the Works Clubman is NOT available only in the UK. That stinks.
Importing a EU spec car is relativeley painless.
You need to inform HMRC and agree to keep the car for 12 months (I think) - as long as you pay VAT in the Eu you shouldnt have a problem with them
Get a type approval certificate from BMW (£50) - they should be able to provide this with the car
Get the dealer to write a letter that it has UK pattern headlamps and speedo in mph
Send all this off to VOSA and you will get a certificate that will allow you to register the car in the UK
