I've had Pirelli and Dunlop (currently have OE Dunlops on my R56 MCS); the Pirelli is not to be recommended as it tram-lines when it is down to 4mm, the Dunlops are superior... but... I've now got Goodyear RSA EMT's all round on my Cooper (last pair fitted at 130,000 miles) and they are as good as the Dunlops and a lot cheaper. I've tried a friend's with Kumho and it does seem to slide about a bit more. All-in-all, I've been very pleased with the Goodyears.
