People forget now that the cars were not called Minis when introduced in 1959, those sold through Austin dealers were AUSTIN SE7ENS and through Morris dealers MORRIS MINI-MINORS, meaning a mini-sized MORRIS MINOR. It was some time later when they were just referred to as Minis and it must have been at least 30 years later when MINI became a brand on its own...I'm sure some of you will advise accordingly.
So can someone work out when the 25th Anniversary of MINI being a stand-alone brand will be, or has that date passed already? |
