This is the sequence that I use, it's always worked for me, the only change is that for some reason I don't have a brake fluid counter on my car
and that option in step 5 is not available:
1. Press reset knob and milage is shown and keep pressed.
2. Switch on ignition till 1st position.
3. Display will show 1_Test, keep on pressing reset button till it shows 51A and milage.
4. Release reset knob.
5. By pressing the knob briefly you will change between oil service and brake fluid.
6. Choose the one you want to reset and keep reset knob till display shows Rst.
7. Release knob and press again to reset the counter
