I don't know about the UK but in the USA, shops like that are generally not the best to find competent mechanics. That being said, here in Germany it is possible to find them. So, if you know of a KF that has good mechanics that won't try to rip you off, then go for it. I would still buy the pads elsewhere and have them install those.
I took my car to a place like that once and the entire caliper fell off.... Needless to say, I am leary of chain stores that don't have a solid reputation. |
