Been at 1320 autos today and here is what was planned:
1.Dyno car as it is (15% pulley,RMW head,1320 cam,Janspeed mani+cat,GP I/C)
2.Dyno the car again with an oil change (using a special oil same grade as OEM though

)
3.Then get Jan(RMW) to tune it and then re-dyno
1. dyno-248BHP (car as it is without tune and with 380cc injectors)( 215-217WHP)
2. dyno-251.7BHP (special oil used) (220WHP)
3. The kind guys at BMW when they flashed my ECU with the JCW map somehow encrypted the file and it was not possible to alter the map

(map file is currently with Dimsport in Italy to see it they can get into it, should be sorted by Saturday and then it can be mapped)
I also tried a GRS intercooler to see the gains over the GP intercooler and and it made 254BHP so it show a gain of 6BHP
I got an odd reading with the torque curve when trying different combos though:
(When swapping the oil and the IC though they both seemed to follow a similar pattern on the curve i.e making more peak power but anomalous torque curve)
OEM oil and GP I/C- peak lbs/ft=201 (248bhp)
Special oil and GP I/C peak lbs/ft=197(251.7bhp)
OEM oil and GRS I/C peak lbs/ft =200 (254bhp)
The special oil was also making more power over OEM oil but the oil temp didn't rise. Would like to test this on track to see how the oil temps compare. I would expect the oil temps not to rise as much as OEM
At one point though when we were waiting for the oil temp to get to the correct temp the dyno fan was running and must of cooled the I/C very well as the first run I seen 235WHP(266BHP)
Just need to get it mapped now and see what power that can gain
Will post graphs when go on desktop comp so I can scan them
But for now I'm at 220WHP
