i felt that the brakes on my S were feelign a bit weak, so i decided to opt for the gtt spiroslot package, discs + pads.
went to get these fitted, and when the mechanic pumped the caliper with a tool, brake fluid spurted out. he therefore thought it was a faulty caliper. however, he did the same to the other side, and saw that the seals for the caliper were also wet.
HOWEVER, the new discs/pads were tghen fitted, and the mechanics pumped the brakes through the pedal and it was fine, no leaks anywhere.
therefore, is this a problem or is it considered normal, even the mechanic wasn't sure
the reason i ask is because there was around 50% left on my old pads, yet they felt weak, and these new brakes dont feel that sharp (maybe because they aren't broken in yet).
what to do!!?
