| I think your missing the point, for ENGINE performance testing im saying use 30-100, 60-130 etc.
For tyre grip/launch control/driver skill etc testing use 0-30 0-60.
If you do a 0-130 you are just blurring the proportion of time thats due to engine performance with that due to engine performance.
As Lee says the average driver on average tyres using conventional gearchange is never going to match the times of a drag driver with tyres/launch control etc . BUT using 60-100etc the results will be amost identical whoever the driver and however grippy your tyres. In essence its hard to fudge anything , and you guys get to see whether your impressive bit of paper actually delivers decent acceleration . |
