The raffle of a rare MINI Clubman (try ordering one and see how far away October is...) has attracted few if any purchases from our northern neighbors!
Where is the local support or are you just holding off so that baker (who has bought multiple chances) is the likely winner (or wiener?)
(You know he secretly desires to rejoin so that he can again baker properly)
I really need to see some raffle tickets purchased soon - Remember - you need not be present to win (OK-Rick?) and the causes are great (Make-a-Wish New Hampshire and the Mt Washington Observatory) and, besides, I can't stand the thought of baker's gloating and I just plain don't like him
So please tell your friends, email your neighbors and buy some yourself by going to:
MINIsOnTop I don't get it . . . I live in southern NH, not the north country, but I still don't get it.
Are you saying the north country of NH, which has a LOT less inhabitants than the southern tier (with it's Mass. tax evaders like me) or any of the other NE states or NY or other states represented by the multitude of MINIs On Top participants, has to buy an undefined number of raffle tickets? Even though thousands of acres are given over to the White Mtn. National Forest and to the Mount Washington State Park (among other areas that prohibit inhabitants) which out-of-staters and residents enjoy?
Or are you saying that, "Hey, folks, raffle sales to date are less than in other years. Please consider buying a ticket now, which benefits Make-A-Wish and the Mount Washington Observatory. And, of course, benefits the winner."?
