Thanks to all my Australian friends for adding to this thread.
I didn't intend to set off a civil war, but it sure was entertaining to watch
I didn't want to prejudice the poll (now at 16 to 7) but i thought you all meant AFL when mentioned "footy" but an office-mate (who went to school briefly in NSW) insisted it was "Rugby League". Now I see there is no one answer.
I've only played "Rugby Union" but both League and AFL look like fine games to me.
So how about we all give a shout out and agree: FOOTY RULES!!!
