Oh dear. Is the standard of maths knowledge really so bad these days?

500 is 50 *times* 10. 50 to the power of 10 is 50 muliplied by 50, multiplied by 50, multiplied by 50 and so on, until you have a string of ten 50s in a row. Mental arithmetic is not my strong point this early on a Saturday, but you're clearly looking at BILLIONS of cars. I know that the MINI has been popular, but making umpteen billion special editions runs the risk that the model won't be very "special" any more - plus everyone on the planet will end up owning a great many MINIS - just think of the congestion, man!
