In reality the above data is quite meaningless in real world driving conditions and my view is just
go with what looks right for you.
Once you figure in driving ability, nerve (or stupidity), petrol in tank, passenger etc then it really all evens out.
I have an old
JCW and was overtaken and left for dead by a standard cooper the other day just beacuse I was a bit dozey and slow off the mark etc and had a full tank, luggage and three passengers.
Unless its a track day toy then surely the best car for you is based on the deal, look, practicality
of having 2/4 seats, mpg etc
All great cars in the end though
