In the same way that extras that will cost you a lot to add to your current MINI will add little to its value, they will also add comparatively little to the price of a late R50 Cooper, so it will work to your benefit if you're a purchaser

PS: If you do keep the current MINI and do only one thing, replace those standard flat seats, if only for some of the mildly upgraded "Sports" ones. You won't know just how uncomfortable the standard seats are until you try the "Sports" ones.....
