The Goodwood Park hotel is REALLY not cheap & if you're wanting to join the convoy it kinda defeats the object of driving back to Chichester to then drive back to Goodwood. If you want cheap then the Travelodge at Fontwell is cheap but then you're stuck with a Burger King & not a lot else. There's always the Chichester Park Hotel which is right next to where we're meeting & is quite reasonable I believe. There's also the new Innkeepers Lodge next to Fontwell Racecourse which I believe is nice & has a nice pub attached. If you're after a bit of nightlife, restaurants, close to town etc...then the Premier Travel Inn at Chichester Gate is really good. It's sat in the middle of about 1/2 dozen restaurants, cinema, bowling alley & a bar/club that is open until 1ish

That should give you enough to go on
