My rear pads are squealing when I brake gently (e.g in traffic) since I replaced them. They have done probably 1000 miles since and did not squeal before they were changed. It's an 06 plate Cooper.
They were replaced with OEM pads, I used copper grease on the back of them and I cleaned the rest of the caliper as well as possible.
Can anyone think of anything else I can do? I'm probably going to take them out over the weekend to see if re-greasing them or something fixes the issue??
Also, could be related, but the pads seem to be slightly rubbing the discs when driving, to the point where if I'm stopping in traffic the car will hold itself on
very slight inclines without the handbrake, where it would roll if on very slight inclines before. Any ideas?
Thanks!!
