Well.. after over one year of airbag light illuminance I have finally been able to afford to get it fixed
New split ring plus a steering column out of an 06 plate and all is well
Managed to get the column and the split ring for a grand total of £50
Bargain! If anyone is interested and is around the Sheffield area I used Quarry Motors, a BMW salvage yard!
